M\u00e9todos para la Gesti\u00f3n Sostenible (SILVANET) de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (UPM) est\u00e1 integrado por profesores, investigadores y personal de la Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenier\u00eda de Montes, Forestal y del Medio Natural, y su especialidad se centra en Ecolog\u00eda y Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental Sostenible, Modelizaci\u00f3n y simulaci\u00f3n de procesos naturales, Ingenier\u00eda Forestal, Ecolog\u00eda del paisaje y Ordenaci\u00f3n del territorio, Aplicaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos cuantitativos a los sistemas naturales, Adquisici\u00f3n y tratamiento de la informaci\u00f3n mediante SIG y Teledetecci\u00f3n, y Dise\u00f1o, planificaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de espacios naturales. Adem\u00e1s, Tiene asociado el LABORATORIO DE TELEDETECCI\u00d3N APLICADA A LA GESTI\u00d3N DE LOS RECURSOS NATURALES Y ORDENACI\u00d3N DEL TERRITORIO (FoReStLab), reconocido oficialmente por la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid y registrado en la Red de Laboratorios de la Comunidad de Madrid con el n\u00ba de registro
